it's true, some things just get better with age.! especially when you're old enough to appreciate the things you enjoyed when you were young in a much broader way.

ha ha... and would you believe i thought about this subject watching an anime.? well, it wasn't until the finale started to reference things from it's first run (Gunbuster 1), that it produced a great feeling of nostalgia in me which made me cry.

i don't think i can describe the feeling. you would only have to had experience it yourself by watching Gunbuster 1 and then watching Gunbuster 2 10 years later... HA HA ha... it's comparable to the STAR WARs effect, or appreciating the taste of good aged wine.

anyway, thank you GAINEX for producing such a fine series to celebrate 20 years of making anime. the art was EPIC, the action could only be IMAGINED, and the story - .... well - GOD - the music at the end, watching heroes return from a long journey --- i'll never forget it.^^;

... how geek do i sound.? HA Hahaha.... well, i would only be this way for a good production like Gunbuster.^^ that, and Macross.!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

consequently, the title does not refer to my birthday; though i haven't celebrated one in a decade. >.<; no, the title refers to a movie you should be watching.^^

... morale learned in said flick. "love won't always be waiting".

though i know love doesn't always wait; and i hate keeping it waiting as much as anyone, i want to think that being with someone for the rest of your life means that you have to trenscend above loving them.

to be honest, it sounds so hard because there's so many trust issues involved. but i think it's easier if you just let things be without expecting much. which means: it's just better to be "close" friends until time/fate allows for you to have something more then love....... like complete "trust". after all, what's there left to any relationship without "trust".?

had such a good time, i'm already planning for next year - february (consequently my birthmonth).^^

4 star restuarant 7 dishes = US $78, VN $21. if i would marry someone, it would be Lieu.^^

HA.! so HAPPY.^^ i miss SEAFOOD, wide roads, good shopping, and being closer to home... even -IF- home is still on the other side of the COAST. >.<;

oh yeah, and friends... i miss them also.^^; i'll definitely be able to take some vacation back to see friends and family - FINALLY.!!

WHAT an awesome city.! makes me horny just thinking about it.^^*

with my tickets purchased 2 weeks in advanced, my mind was TOTTALY against going on the trip because there was little communication about what was going to happen and confirmations about people actually going. to add, the host of the trip got freaked out about failing to get permission to go to bring attend. my mind was changed because we thought an NCO was going to come; and, if we got into trouble, i felt that we could blame things on him.... LOLz. he didn't show up to go either. >.<;

well... 9 people spent $160 cab fare to get to the airport, but we had 2 more dropouts when we got there. ALEX couldn't go because she didn't have her passport. LOCKHART couldn't go, because he never had the chance to go in the first place. the poor guy was just drunk that morning and was fully convinced by KELLY that he didn't need a passport -OR- tickets to go. so maybe by going to the airport a pair of tickets would MAGICALLY appear for him....

i had already warned people without passports that they were going to have to waste MORE money on cab fare home, and GUESS what happens to people who don't listen to TRAN.? I TOLD YOU SO.!!!!!!!!!!

... hmmm, how to cut this entry short.?.....

1. the group didn't like it that i got a room in a different hotel just so i could have my own room, but people don't understand how much i like privacy. i like to be in underwear, shit loud, and be messy. i'll also hate sharing the bathroom, especially waiting to use it and taking a shit after someone has taken a shit. FUCK THAT.!!

2. a lot of the shopping in FLORANCE is a dream. they had all the major names and all the stores were outside in generously wide streets. the weather was beautiful so we spent 2 days shopping GUESS, BOSS, LV, DEISAL, FENDI, BVLGARI, etc... i couldn't find ARMANI though - *sigh*.

3. FLORANCE was also packed with musuems, statues, HUGE cathedrals, and street performers and painters. any tourist would LOVE to lose themselves. which is what the group did. we would walk endless hours - maybe 8 miles worth - just sightseeing.^^

but from a different angle..... becomes questionable scuptures

4. and funny shit happens when you're with friends who are co-workers.

1. with KELLY - it was all about a begger. the homeless in FLORANCE would kneel with their heads down and a cup was placed in front of them for money. we walked by a begger and KELLY started to make ji-HAD noises, quoting "PRAISE ALLAH". this shocked everyone and i remembered calling him, "fuckin monster......"

2. with ADAMS - it was about him threatening to BEAT me and RUDOY up.   the thing about the guy is that he gets these ideas and into his head when he's inebriated - and not being able to listen to reason.   RUDOY and me had planned to follow some girls to a club they suggested.   but, seeing as how the group didn't want to, decided not to go at all.   the problem was ADAMS got pissed off, convinced that we WERE going.....   WHAT DA FUCK.?!!

"NO NO.   you fuckers go with them and SEEEEE whur they lead jews..."
"adams, we're not going to go with them. we're here with you RIGHT now.."
"go with them man, see where they take your STUPID asses.   they prolly take you somewhere....."
rinse, repeat.
and then ADAMS threatens to fight us; and i'm thinking to outloud, "you're JOKING right, ADAMS.??"
"no, i'm going to fuck you up"
this leads to me saying, "FUCK THIS - BYE"   **picture TRAN walking off VERY fast like a girl home**

3. with HE-MAN - it started when he ran into some vendor's wares and knocked them over. (baby tripod stands apparantly).   the outraged vendors would yell after him - which prompted HE-MAN to return like they were asking to fight.   so the vendors got really scared and yelled, "TIME-OUT.... you SAY SORRY".
hey, - i thought it was funny.   you just had to be there.   the whole group was dying over vendors wilting before HE-MAN.
4. lots of other things happen.
a. the boys put TOOTHPASTE all over HOLLY while she was sleeping.
b. people were getting their showers busted into because the showers weren't privatly seperated in the room save by the screen that you can close.
c. people were getting lost all the time.   we were a bunch of impatient bitches complaining about the cost of food..... well, honestly everyone else was because TRAN is filled with IMMENSE patience and BOTTOMLESS pockets.

to be honest, i am very thankful i had such a good time. minus the bad shit - i think everything turned out to be it's own story to tell. and there was so much more to talk about.^^ i had the idea that the trip was doomed because there was so little planning going on to a place we knew nothing about and am thankful to be wrong.

i replaced a 160gb HD, with this 500gb BADASS.

and then i thought to myself, "huy, we've got problems". the HARD DRIVE is now at 300gb+ capacity and has since been filled with -NO- not all porn (SICKOs), but TV Shows, Movies and Music. all praise to BITtorrent pages and BITcomet, the new ALLAH, BABY JESUS, the NEW NEW drug of my internet.^^;

if you don't know. torrents are just another way to share files and BITcomet is a neat software which helps you download/search them.

i'm still buying shit i like, but it's nice to be able to FOLD that $200/month and put it back into my pocket for better things in my life. such as buying incense and REAL HARD drugs.^^

... if it had to be the last thing i'll ever eat.^^

it's been 2 years since i've had prime rib. seems like there's no place in England that serves it.! >.<; so i dropped $60 bones at the supermarket and made my own.

so pimp... so FUCKING GOOOOOOD.!! and so easy to make too.^^* also, notice how thick the piece is (1 .25 inch) **wink wink**.!

HOW TO COOK.?? basicly, leave to thaw for 2 hours. then rub in seasonings (lots of salt and pepper). i used salt n' spice, lemon pepper, and minced garlic. place in oven at 125F for 2 hours, rotating tray every half hour.

TASTES SOOOO GOOOOOOD.^^*
